Overview:
Double-shaft shredder is an efficient and durable industrial shredder, mainly used for coarse shredding of various types of solid waste. It uses two parallel knife shafts to break down materials into smaller pieces through low-speed, high-torque shearing and tearing. Structure:
Frame: welded with high-strength steel plates to ensure the stability of the equipment under heavy load conditions.
Knife shaft system: consists of two parallel knife shafts, each of which is equipped with multiple sets of moving knives, which rotate synchronously through gears or sprockets.
Tools: usually made of high-hardness alloy steel (such as Cr12MoV, D2, SKD-11, etc.), wear-resistant and impact-resistant, replaceable or repairable.
Drive system: composed of motor, reducer, coupling, etc., providing high-torque and low-speed power output.
Screen (optional): Some models are equipped with screens to control the particle size of the discharge.

Working principle:
Feeding: The material is fed into the feed port through a conveyor belt or manually.
Shredding: The two knife shafts rotate relative to each other, and the shear force and tearing force between the moving knives are used to crush the material.
Discharging: The crushed material is discharged through the screen (if any), and the material that does not meet the standard continues to be shredded by the knife shaft.
Safety protection: In case of super-hard materials or overload, the equipment can automatically reverse or stop to prevent damage to the knife and motor.
